KRP-150FR Insulated Fire Rated Karp Access Doors

The KRP-150FR fire-rated access door is flush mounted, with both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. The KRP-150FR Access Door is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for 1.5 hours "B" label in walls and by Warnock Hersey for 3 hours in ceilings.

Specifications

  • Frame and trim shall be 16 gauge steel, 1” wide.
  • Door shall be 20 gauge steel, welded pan type filled with 2” thick fire-rated insulation and shall open to 175°, be self-latching with automatic closer and interior latch release.
  • Hinge shall be continuous piano hinge.
  • Latches shall be bolt type, operated by either ring turn or flush key device (both provided and all keyed alike), or doors shall be prepared for locks which shall be supplied by others.
  • The KRP-150FR Stainless steel shall have No. 4 satin polish finish.
  • The KRP-150FR with a steel finish shall be prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder, baked enamel.
  • Gasketing on 3 or 4 sides is also available
