StiffClip® RT series secures and ties down roof framing members. StiffClip’s unique shape incorporates stiffened legs to increase compressive strength and resist horizontal, lateral, and uplift loads. The allowable design load table shown is based on the use of StiffClip® as it is attached to various steel stud material thicknesses and yield strengths. Design loads consider loads on the clip and the use of #12 screw fasteners relative to the framing material.
